COUNSELING

In-person and telehealth services in California | Coaching services availible worldwide.

Counseling is a collaborative process that provides a safe, supportive space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. It’s an opportunity to address challenges, heal past wounds, and develop skills to navigate life with greater clarity and resilience.

What is Counseling?

Many individuals I work with are stepping into their first experience with mental health treatment and may feel unsure of what to expect. This is completely normal, and those initial feelings of stress or anxiety are common. My goal is to help ease that uncertainty by fostering a sense of trust and safety from the very beginning.

Our initial sessions will focus on building a strong foundation. We’ll take time to get to know one another, identify what feels most important to you, and clarify the goals you want to achieve. Through exploratory questions and open dialogue, we’ll bring the key issues into focus and begin to map out a personalized plan for your growth.

The pace of our work will always be guided by your comfort and readiness. As we move forward, we’ll use a variety of evidence-based approaches to help you better understand your experiences, stay accountable to your goals, and create meaningful change.

Who I work with?

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, I work with individuals and couples who are ready to grow, heal, and make meaningful changes. My practice is exclusively available to California residents due to licensing requirements.

My Specialties

  • As part of my specialties and expertise, I am certified in Attachment-Focused EMDR, a Facilitator and Trainer in the Felt-Sense Polyvagal Model (FSPM), and a Focusing Trainer. In my work, we address past wounds, deficits, and barriers to emotional and psychological well-being, helping you heal and move forward.

  • I help you understand the beliefs and habits that keep you stuck, and guide you in finding new ways forward. By integrating attachment theory, internal family systems, mindset work, inner critic exploration, Polyvagal Theory, and psychodynamic approaches, I support you in making lasting changes.

  • With advanced training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), I work to improve communication, connection, and emotional intimacy. Additionally, we explore past family systems and structures, identifying both their helpful and healthy aspects, as well as areas where they may have been unhealthy or ineffective.

  • I help you develop effective tools to manage overwhelm, navigate emotions, and find balance. With extensive training in DBT, mindfulness, and Polyvagal Theory, I guide you toward greater emotional regulation and resilience.
